Send to Resolve from Premiere

The Konformista panel docks in Premiere. It shows what won't arrive in Resolve as cut, sends the sequence to Resolve or exports it, and brings the graded timeline back into your project. Its buttons open Konformista's own windows over Premiere: Review, Kontroller, Notes and the Timer.

A working copy of the panel on a made-up reel. Point at a part to find it; send, export, collapse or open a window. Nothing is written.

What won't arrive in Resolve

The panel reads the sequence you have open with the same checks as the app, and counts what won't arrive as cut, by how serious it is.

At a glance
One line per kind of finding, worst first. Check again after an edit.
Review
The Review window lists every finding clip by clip, with what to do about it. Each flagged clip gets a marker in Premiere, in its finding's color, until you tick it reviewed.

Send, or export

The cut leaves Premiere from the panel, with the same choices as the app's own Send and Export.

Send to Resolve
Into a new Resolve project, the project open in Resolve, or another project you pick. The panel saves your Premiere project first.
Export
A .konform package for a colorist on another machine, your clip notes inside; a timeline XML for any Resolve, the free one included; a Resolve .drt timeline or .drp project, with a trimmed media folder if you want one; or a new Premiere project with its media trimmed into a folder beside it.
A reference first
Render a reference of the cut in Premiere, as H.264 or ProRes 422 LT, and it arrives in Resolve as the reference track.
What Resolve cannot take
Render it in Premiere first and it goes to Resolve as media, in ProRes 4444 to keep transparency, or another ProRes.
Trimmed media
Checked against the originals after writing, unless you switch the check off.
While it runs
The panel shows what the send is doing and for how long, and asks there when it needs a decision.

The grade, back in Premiere

After a round-trip send, the graded timeline comes back to the project it left.

Renders on their way
While Resolve's renders are still coming, the panel says how many are left.
Add graded timeline
When they are in, one click puts the graded timeline into the project open in Premiere, beside the original.

Konformista's windows, over Premiere

The panel's doors open Konformista's own windows, working on your Premiere sequence.

Open in Konformista
The sequence on the app's results page, to review and relink there.
Kontroller
Shot, Clips, Markers, Notes and VFX pull. The clip under Premiere's playhead with its file and speed, every file the sequence plays, its markers to add, change and move, and VFX plates cut from the camera originals with handles, with the shot list, an ALE and an EDL.
Notes
A note on the clip you select, with its own picture. It goes to the colorist with the conform, and inside a .konform package.
Timer
Follows Premiere: it binds to the sequence you have open, starts and stops with it, and counts while Premiere is in front. The time goes to the same ledger as Kontroller's, ready to invoice.

Collapse to a new sequence

See the cut as Konformista sends it, in Premiere.

One picture track
A new sequence with one picture track wherever the cut allows, and composites kept above it. Titles, graphics and adjustment layers ride on top, switched off. Sound stays as cut.
Yours unchanged
The sequence you collapse is not changed.
