Importing with Konformer
Konformer is the free companion for completing a conform in Resolve.
Importing
Load a .konform by double-clicking it, dragging it onto the window, or Choose .konform…. Pick where it lands (new project or add to the open one), choose what to include, and click Import to Resolve: it unpacks the media, builds the timeline and imports it.
Resolve Studio builds the whole conform in one click, with its retimes, the conform flags and markers, and the clip colors. On Resolve Free Konformer guides you through File ‣ Import ‣ Timeline with the media unpacked first, so it links cleanly. The XML brings the cut in; the conform flags and clip colors come with a Studio import.
After the import, the flagged clips are worked through in the Review window.
