Build the conform

The Project Hub & project setup

Every project lives on the Hub as a card showing where it is in the handoff. Click a card to tell Konformista what to hand off, before you analyze.

The drop bar

Across the top is a drop bar that accepts three things, and Konformista figures out which is which: a Premiere project (.prproj) starts a new conform; a .konform opens a package; a grade delivery folder is matched back to bring the grade home.

The state dot

Each card carries a colored dot telling you where the project is: gray (not analyzed), blue (ready to send), amber (awaiting grade), gold (grade is back), green (graded project written), or red (source not found — right-click to relink).

Projects & timelines

A project is the job; a timeline is one thing you conform within it. Each Premiere sequence you bring in becomes its own timeline — analyzed, sent and graded independently, all under one project. When a file has several sequences the Add sequences picker lets you choose which become timelines.

Media search folders

List the folders where your footage lives. Konformista searches them and their subfolders to locate every clip.

Reference video & media preference

Optionally supply a flat render of your timeline so the colorist can A/B the conform against your offline. The Media preference dropdown — Auto, Prefer originals, or Prefer proxies — tells Konformista which to conform against when both exist.

Next: analyzing the sequence.
